Five of the most accomplished stars in golf have officially been announced as the first wave of participants in WTGL.
Jeeno Thitikul, Charley Hull, Lydia Ko, Lexi Thompson and Brooke Henderson are ready to kick things off, with TMRW Sports and the LPGA partnering to launch the new team golf league announced earlier this month.
WTGL matches will be played at SoFi Center, the same custom-built venue that’s currently hosting Season 2 of TGL presented SoFi.
While these five players are the first official commitments for the new league, keep an eye out for additional big names to be unveiled in the near future. Sign up to be among the first to know on future announcements.
Jeeno Thitikul
Thitikul has been No. 1 in the Rolex World Rankings since August 2025. The 22-year-old from Thailand first rose to the top of the rankings in 2022 following a storied amateur career, during which she became the youngest person ever to win a professional golf tournament by claiming the Ladies European Thailand Championship at age 14.
Thitikul, who represented Thailand at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, now has seven LPGA Tour victories, including consecutive wins at the CME Group Tour Championship. She’s also won five LPGA season-long awards and is the reigning Rolex Player of the Year.
Charley Hull
Hull has three LPGA victories, winning most recently at the Kroger Queen City Championship in September of 2025. The 29-year-old out of England is a two-time Olympian and has been a member of Team Europe in seven Solheim Cups, amassing a record of 15-9-3.
Hull has been one of the more accessible stars in golf throughout her career, building a massive following across several social media platforms.

Lydia Ko
Also joining WTGL is Ko, the former longtime World No. 1 and LPGA Hall of Famer. A two-time Rolex Player of the Year, Ko has already racked up three major championships, and 23 LPGA Tour wins at age 28, also earning three Olympic medals representing New Zealand – most recently winning Gold at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Ko won her first LPGA event as an amateur at the 2012 Women’s Canadian Open, becoming the youngest-ever winner of an LPGA tournament at just 15 years of age.
Lexi Thompson
Thompson has been at the forefront of the game for more than a decade as well, winning 11 times on the LPGA Tour and earning her first major victory by three strokes at the 2014 Kraft Nabisco Championship at age 19. She’s also a two-time Olympian and seven-time team member for the U.S. Solheim Cup squad.
The 30-year-old American is a resident of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla, where SoFi Center is located, and was in the house for a TGL match earlier this season – including taking a few swings at the massive screen she will soon compete on.
Brooke Henderson
Rounding out the first five players announced, Henderson is the most successful Canadian golfer of all time. She’s won 14 times on the LPGA Tour, including two major championships – Henderson became the second-youngest major champion when she won the 2016 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at age 18. She also took home the 2022 Amundi Evian Championship.
A three-time Olympian, Henderson won the ESPY for Best Female Golfer in 2019 after notching her fourth consecutive multi-win season.
WTGL will include TGL staples like the Hammer and all players mic’d up for the duration of the match, along with the same tech-driven platform for real-time data, analytics and feedback.
WTGL will launch its inaugural season in Winter 2026-27.
