WTGL continues to take shape ahead of its Winter 2026-27 debut, with two new player commitments for the fast-paced, team golf league held at the custom-built SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.
Lottie Woad and Rose Zhang will bring their talents to SoFi Center, with the duo officially unveiled Tuesday as the latest players on board for WTGL, which will include many familiar elements from TGL such as the Hammer and players mic’d up for matches.
Jeeno Thitikul, Charley Hull, Lydia Ko, Lexi Thompson and Brooke Henderson are already on board as part of the first wave of players announced, with more to come in the near future.
Woad, 22, is a rising star coming off her first full season on the LPGA Tour. She won the 2022 Girls Amateur Championship and became the first European to win the Augusta National Women’s Amateur in 2024.
It didn’t take long for Woad to knock out her first professional victory at the 2025 Women’s Scottish Open last July, one of four top-10 finishes in her debut season. Born in England, Woad played college golf at Florida State, finishing runner-up at the 2024 NCAA Div. 1 Women’s Golf Championship.
Zhang is plenty familiar with TGL as an investor in The Bay Golf Club. She will soon compete at the same venue as the Bay Area team as one of the first WTGL commitments. The 22-year-old has always shined under the brightest lights, winning in her LPGA debut at the 2023 Mizuho Americas Open – the first player to win their first pro start in 72 years.
Zhang was a superstar college player at Stanford, winning back-to-back individual NCAA Women’s Golf Championship titles in 2022-23. She won 12 events in just 20 starts for the Cardinal and also captured the 2023 Augusta National Women’s Amateur.
First announced earlier this year, WTGL is partnered with the LPGA to showcase the women’s game among a collection of top-talent at the same venue that is currently hosting Season 2 of TGL presented by SoFi.
